This is the area for old issues of PIT STOP. Every time an issue is sent out, a version of that will be posted here for all to see. Those who did not receive the e-mail (if they had not joined at that point), then they are able to see it here.

Issue #1:

This is the first issue of PIT STOP, the OFFICIAL newsletter of Pit Droid Cafe. It will be sent out periodically once we get a Staff up and running. For now, I, Shock Trooper, am writing this.

Important News:

We are currently looking for new members. The Staff is asking everyone to help out by asking friends or family members to join this site. However, you are not required to do this.

Discussion has started on playable games for the site. Please visit the thread in Comms to share your ideas.

Discussion for Moderators will start soon. Post in your favorite threads, and maybe you can become a Mod!

The RPG section of the boards will debut soon, so be on the lookout for that! There will hopefully be an RP board and an RP Resource board, so get over there and play some RPG's once it gets up and running!

Issue #2:

Since the last issue of PIT STOP, we've had some new boards come into commission, thanks to Shock Trooper's hard work.

The Creche Forum, is a group of forums where newbies join clans. Each clan specialises in a different area of the boards. Shock Trooper will be looking after Boga Clan which will teach newbies all about the Saga and EU forums. I, Lolly_Tolly, will be looking after the Ewok Clan, which is all about fanfic. We should be finallising the positions of the other two Clan Masters, soon. In these clans, you can discuss anything you like, from asking questions about Oldbies, and whether they're joking or not, to how certain things work.

The Guest Book, is for people who come randomly visiting our boards to have a share. In this forum, people who don't have an account are able to post, and leave feedback about the boards, as well as have a bit of a discussion, and hopefully be persuaded to join.

We also have a new Humour forum for everyone to post their jokes, anecdotes and generally post little tid-bits of humour.

You may also have noticed that we have a brand new YouTube forum, for you to post your favourite, and not so favourite, videos for others to discuss! There's been little activity in this and the humour forum...

Of course, I can't leave you without saying something for fanfic. I've started an events thread in Resource. There will be a new event every three months, and I hope some of you will get involved. The first event is a series of challenges, starting December 31, 3pm Eastern Pacific Time. Don't worry, it won't be hard! I promise!

PIT STOP Issue #3:

Well, in the last issue, I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention the Role Playing forums. Once again, it's due to Shock Trooper's dedication to the forums that allows us this new playground.

The Fan literature challenges have started and you have until 3pm Thursday western Pacific time to get your entries in. Good luck!

For any who have taken the time to notice, there's a Gallery! There's already some awesome pictures in there, so feel free to have a look, and post your own!

Otherwise, not much has happened. Soon, though, school will be starting for all who still attend, and neither Shock Trooper or Lolly_Tolly will be around as much, unfortunately. So behave yourselves while we're not here, ok?!

Calling all members! The Clans on Pit Droid Cafe are ready to go, and are currently looking for members to join. You don't have to be a newbie; all you need to do is post in the Clan that you want to join. The Clan Cup Tournament soon, so pick your side and be a part of the action!


On a secondary note, the forum staff is looking for one or two members who would like to produce PIT STOP newsletters in the future. Please post in the PIT STOP thread on the site (it's on the bottom), and you'll be given details of the competition that will be held for the open slots. and remember; PIT STOP Staff get colors and access to the Admin Panel, so don't hesitate to try and become a staff member![
