| Welcome, fellow Internet-users. Do you sometimes hate your Internet connection? Do pages load much slower than they are supposed to, making you want to pull your hair out? Do you spend too much on your Internet bills, yet get little in terms of quality? In our community here, you can come together with other people and gripe about the Internet or computers themselves. The more people who can gripe about their computers the better! And maybe someone will drop a helpful hint once in a while. However, as with all groups, the Knights have rules that you must follow to be able to talk computers with your fellow Knights; if you don't follow these rules, then you are banned from the thread. The Staff will be watching carefully, so pay attention and READ THESE RULES. 1. This is a "Mock Fan Club". In other words, you are allowed to create your own "Internet Knight" persona (preferably one with a computer-style name). This is the name you will go by in this thread. 2. Subject matter can include: Internet connections, the Internet itself, computers themselves, computer accessories (speakers, printer, mouse, etc.), computer video games/programs and computer programming in general. 3. Although we like some sarcasm in this thread, do not be overly sarcastic about your fellow Knights. Baiting, flaming, etc. are not allowed. All violaters will be banned (length will depend on the offense), and their personas will be ignored. 4. DO NOT USE PROFANITY! We don't want someone to drop a cuss-bomb with younger readers around. Violators will be subject to administrative action. If you want to use profanity, please PM a Mod asking about the said word before you post it. Failure to do this will end up being YOUR fault, not the fault of the Staff. 5. Follow the Terms of Service of forumotion.com. If you do not, you will be subject to administrative action or possible legal action from the forum provider. We WILL catch you, so don't do anything stupid that breaks the rules of the forums. 6. Mod word is law; if they tell you to stop a particular subject, then drop it. If you do not, the Staff will want to have a word with you. Administrative action will follow. 7. Have Fun! If you can follow these rules, then you're all set! So welcome, Internet Knights; Computer gaffes and general Internet randomness will ensue!

| As the first order of business, I would like to put out this discussion topic; annoying Full System Scans. You all hate them, because they slow your computer down for several hours while trying to scour all of the parts of your computer. Usually, this occurs after you have been hassled about said scan for several days, and the scans usually occur when you are going to do something important such as a school assignment or send an important e-mail.
So, does everyone hate Full System Scans by your Internet Security program?

| I don't have any trouble with mine. I have AVG, and that does full computer scans every day. It takes most of the day, which is weird because I have very little on my computer. But it doesn't slow my computer down, which is good. | |

| Which is better Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer? I personally prefer MF, because of certain add-ons that allow me to block ads.... What do you think, and what do you use? | |

| I don't know anything about FireFox, because I use MSN Explorer. Microsoft Explorer is also on my machine, but I use MSN Explorer. | |

| It has MSN as the default homepage. Important things like E-mail are on the top bar of the page. | |

| Oh. Oh wells. I'm happy with Firefox, anyways.
You know, this has become a quite serious discussion. Perhaps it should be moved back to the club? | |

| It's supposed to be some humor/satire, so it can fit in both forums. | |

| lolz. Something I've always had trouble with is all these abbreviations. They can be really useful, but they can also be annoying as school teachers! | |
